Membership Agreement for The Hilom Collective

Welcome to The Hilom Collective, operated by The Brown Psych, LLC (“Company,” “we,”“our,” or “us”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your participation in and use of our website, online membership, courses, workshops, community gatherings, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By registering for or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to participate.

By enrolling, you represent that you meet this requirement and are capable of entering into this agreement.

Our Services are offered globally, but you are responsible for complying with your local laws.

2. Description of Services

The Hilom Collective provides online, membership-based wellness and educational offerings

focused on inner child healing, ancestral wisdom, and Filipino psychology. These include (but are not limited to):

• Didactic lessons on inner child healing and Filipino psychology

• Live Q&A sessions and community discussions

• Inner child healing support groups

• Creative expression or Cultural workshops (writing, art, movement, etc.)

• On-demand video lessons and recordings

• Online meetups for community connection

Note: Offerings and schedules may shift in response to community needs.

For example, a monthly creative writing workshop may be replaced with an art-based session for inner child healing.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify members in advance of any scheduling or program changes.

3. Wellness Disclaimer and Participant Responsibility

Our work centers on kapwa (shared humanity), storytelling, and soul-tending practices. It may

feel deeply therapeutic — but it is not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment.

A. Nature of Services

Some facilitators are licensed mental health professionals. However, within The Hilom

Collective, they act as educators and guides, not as clinical providers.

Participation does not create a therapist–client or doctor–patient relationship.

B. Wellness and Safety Guidelines

✨ This space is not a substitute for therapy.

Our offerings are soul-tending practices meant to nourish. They are not replacements for

psychotherapy or medical treatment. If you are navigating trauma or a mental health condition,

we encourage you to walk alongside a trained professional.

✨ If at any point you feel overwhelmed — pause.

Strong emotions may arise. That’s natural. Healing stirs what has been buried.

If you begin to feel flooded or unsafe in your body, please pause and tend to yourself. Seek

support from a licensed counselor before continuing.

For support:

• Philippines: Silakbo Mental Health

• U.S. and diaspora: www.therapinay.com

✨ If you are in active addiction:

We ask that you stabilize and seek professional support before engaging.

This is not a space for spiritual bypassing, but for presence, humility, and grounded care.

✨ This work is powerful, but not magical.

It is not a potion or a promise to fix everything. It is an invitation to return to your inner knowing

through kapwa and ancestral remembering. It requires readiness and discernment.

✨ Inner child healing requires consistency.

Tending to your inner child is an ongoing practice. This journey asks for presence, not

perfection—but it does ask you to show up.

✨ You feel emotionally ready for peer support.

This is a shared, co-regulated space. Please ensure you feel safe enough to engage in peer-to-peer

reflection and care.

✨ You will seek help for emergencies outside this space.

This community is not equipped for crisis or emergency support. If you are in danger or distress, contact local emergency or crisis services immediately.

✨ You honor community privacy.

What is shared here stays here. Protect each other’s stories with reverence.

✨ Referrals may be offered.

Facilitators may lovingly refer you to additional resources or professionals when deeper support

is needed.

✨ You are 18+ and give informed consent.

This space is held for adults who freely and consciously choose to engage.
